Former Police Says The Shower Posse Gang Led By Christopher Coke Was Highly Organized and ‘Deadly’

Retired Police Commissioner Owen Ellington says the nation is fortunate that the security forces were able to repel the attack on the state by the Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke led Shower Posse back in 2010.

Ellington, who was testifying before the West Kingston Commission of Enquiry this morning, again expressed regret at the loss of lives during the three-day police-military operations but insisted that the security forces were “left with no choice.”

“It was an attack on the state and if they (Shower Posse) had succeeded in repelling the security forces it’s anybody’s guess where Coke’s office would be today,” he said in response to questions from one of the commissioners Professor Anthony Harriott.

He painted a picture of a Shower Posse that, in 2010, was highly organised and deadly.

“They are other gangs that can produce violence but not on the level of the Presidential Click”, he said in reference to one of the many moniker for Coke’s gang.

The retired top cop said intelligence at the time showed that Coke had long term ambition to expand his power and influence across the entire island.

Rapper Crunchy Black Of 3-6 Mafia Arrested For Meth Possession In Vegas

Crunchy Black arrested in Vegas for meth and jaywalking.

Three 6 Mafia rapper Crunchy Black is a man who knows what he wants when it comes to drugs … but according to cops he isn’t too good at getting it.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the Oscar winner was roaming the streets of Vegas early Tuesday when he was stopped for walking into an intersection when the “do not cross” light was flashing.

It didn’t take long for cops to discover meth.

According to the police report, Crunchy’s response was hilariously incriminating. He said, “Oh damn. I was trying to buy that powder, not meth.”

For bad measure the ‘Three 6’ rapper also had 2 warrants for his arrest. He was booked for possession and for providing a phony name. He’s still in custody.

Crunchy has other problems. He’s still a wanted man in Minnesota after allegedly beating his girlfriend in a hotel room.

A rep for Crunchy Black tells us the rapper wants to move forward with his life and will handle the charges in court.

John Legend launching a campaign to end mass incarceration, FREE AMERICA.

John Legend is using his talents to address a social cause. The Academy Award-winning singer has announced that he is launching a campaign to end mass incarceration, FREE AMERICA.

“We have a serious problem with incarceration in this country,” Legend told the Associated Press. “It’s destroying families, it’s destroying communities and we’re the most incarcerated country in the world, and when you look deeper and look at the reasons we got to this place, we as a society made some choices politically and legislatively, culturally to deal with poverty, deal with mental illness in a certain way and that way usually involves using incarceration.”

The first things on Legend’s agenda will be to perform at a correctional facility in Austin, TX and then to attend a press conference with state legislators to talk about Texas’ criminal justice system. The Grammy-award winner will also co-host a criminal justice event with Politico in Washington, DC and pay a visit to a prison in California.

More artists will be added to the campaign in the future.

“I’m just trying to create some more awareness to this issue and trying to make some real change legislatively,” he said. “And we’re not the only ones. There are senators that are looking at this, like Rand Paul and Cory Booker, there are other nonprofits that are looking at this, and I just wanted to add my voice to that.”
