Former Commissioner Testifies That Illegal Guns Arrived In Jamaica Ahead Of Tivoli Operation To Apprehend Dudus Coke

Jamaica’s former Commissioner of Police says a stockpile of illegal guns and other weapons landed in Kingston days prior to the Tivoli raids.

Former commissioner of police Owen Ellington testified that the police got intelligence that an aeroplane with illegal weapons landed at the airstrip in Vernamfield, Clarendon, days before the May 24, 2010 operation to apprehend Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke.

He testified that the cargo of guns landed on May 20. Ellington, who was being questioned by Peter Champagnie, said the guns did not belong to the police.

The former top cop said he was not immediately made aware of the report of the illegal shipment. He testified also that it had been reported by the police, who were by the Kingston Harbour, that 15 row boats with heavily armed men were heading toward Portmore in St Catherine.

The former commissioner also testified that gangs affiliated with Coke had planned to create disturbances across the island to stretch the resources of the police.

Man Ran Over By Suge Knight Says He’s Not Snitching

 As the Suge Knight Saga continues, one of the men that that was run over by Knight at a Compton burger joint says that he’s not going to “snitch” on the former Death Row label owner. 

Even though there is surveillance video of Suge Knight running over two men in his red pickup truck, “Bone” says he’s not talking.

Being as though there is pretty concrete evidence of the hit and run which left one man dead, I wonder how this case will play out.

By personal experience I know that once the State or Federal prosecutors pick up a case, they are pretty much going after you whether the victim approves or not. Jesus Christ (himself) would have to come down off the cross to save you once they have video evidence of a crime being committed.

This is definitely still a big positive for Suge’s defense but we will see how the court responds…

The man who got run over by Suge Knight, and survived, tearfully testified in court that he would not “snitch” and help prosecutors put Suge in prison.

Cle “Bone” Sloan was called to the stand during Suge’s preliminary hearing Monday AM, and the prosecutor raised the topic of snitching.

Sloan got emotional and declared he “doesn’t want to be used to send this man to prison.” He added, “I screwed up and Terry’s dead.”

It’s amazing … the guy who was laid up for weeks with broken bones from Suge plowing over him — took the stand and tried to take the blame for Terry Carter’s death … seemingly taking some heat off Suge.

But what Bone giveth he taketh away, because by saying he wouldn’t snitch and help put Suge in prison, by definition he’s saying Suge did bad things that should land him in the big house.

Rapper Nelly Arrested On Felony Drug And Gun Charges In Tennessee

nellyarrestedAccording to Fox News, Nelly (rapper) was pulled over by the police in “Ten-a-key” (that’s Tennessee for all of you non-hood-non-southerners) last night/early this morning and arrested on several charges, both felonies and misdemeanors.

The charges range from gun possession and drug (marijuana, meth) possession –to anything else the cops could pin on him.

My question here is why the meth? I wasn’t aware that meth was even remotely a drug of choice within the hip hop community, apparently I don’t know much!

Rapper and reality TV star Nelly is facing felony drug charges after being arrested in Tennessee on Saturday.

Tennessee Highway Patrol said in a news release that Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Haynes, was pulled over about 9:20 a.m. because the bus he was riding in failed to display a U.S. Department of Transportation and International Fuel Tax Association sticker.

According to the release troopers smelled marijuana when they reached the bus.

When troopers searched the bus, they found five rocks that tested positive for meth, as well as a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Troopers also say they found numerous handguns.

The St. Louis native is facing charges including felony possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Nelly, 40, was released from Putnam County Jail on a $10,000 bond. His next court date is June 19.
