WATCH: Funeral Director Loses It All Due to Alcoholism

I came across this video from the show “Intervention” on my YouTube feed. It struck a cord with me because I personally watched my uncle drink himself to death’s door and it was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. It got so bad that I almost submitted his story to the show “Intervention”. The family felt all out of options. Eventually my uncle did pass away due to events not directly tied to alcoholism.

If you or someone you know suffers from alcohol please start seeking help because the longer the addiction goes the more dangerous it becomes.

For the cellphone people there is an app called Reframe that could help monitor drinking. You can find the app on Google Play or the App Store. Whatever works, addiction is a sickness. It’s a disease.

Brian, the man featured in this video has now been sober since 2016.
