WATCH: San Diego State Campus Police Slam & Nearly Break Student’s Back

So …the hashtag #BlackUnderAttackSDSU is trending live on social media and the following video explains why.

Just wow. The students of San Diego State University have since began peaceful protests in hopes of speaking with campus administration in regards to racial tension and campus police brutality.

The details of what happened prior have not come to light, but the video — shot by a fellow student — shows nothing that warranted this young man being treated this way. The force used was excessive —very. Matter of fact, if there were no video cameras or people around, this kid might have not made it out alive. That’s a terrifying reality, especially since he was not posing a threat to the officers and was clearly well subdued.

Horrified students took to social media to blast school officials for their handling of the situation.

SDSU students allege that instead of school officials addressing the arrest and attempting to ease their concerns, the doors were closed and locked in their faces.

How does a seemingly reasonable conversation turn into this type of confrontation?

As of yet, San Diego State University has not released any statements via the media nor social media.

Florida Politician Slaps Man Who Took Down One Of His Campaign Signs

Wow. The sakes are extremely high this election and the republicans are ready for war! Literally.

According to Gainesville.com –A republican Florida politician was caught punching slapping a man attempting to take down one of his campaign signs.

Keith Perry, who hadn’t returned calls since Monday, sent an email to The Sun shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday, explaining his role in the altercation. The email said he would be available to speak to the media Thursday.

“Anyone who knows me, knows that it takes quite a bit to rile me up. What began as a silly disagreement over a legal campaign yard sign — that was authorized by the owner to be placed in his yard — escalated, and for my part in that, I apologize,” the email read.

Perry said he approached Norman Robert Leppla, 46, in “good faith” to talk to him about a sign he’d removed from the gate of a home Leppla was visiting and at one point, Leppla agreed to put the sign back where he found it.

Leppla, who has not returned calls about the incident, told police he went to put the sign back, but removed it a second time after he said Perry made rude comments to him, according to his sworn complaint.

Throwback Special: Oprah Winfrey Visits Racist Atlanta Town Where No Black Person Had Lived For 75 Years

In the following video, Oprah Winfey took her talk show to Forsyth County- Georgia, a town only about 30 miles north of Atlanta, to tackle race relations.

In 1987, Forsyth County was proudly an ‘all white’ county and a hotbed for racism fueled by the KKK. At the time, not one black person had lived there for 75 years!

Needless the to say the town ‘locals’ were NOT thrilled to see Oprah (or her show) which had only been on air 5 months at the time. In true KKK fashion they put on their robes, flew their confederate flags, protested and chanted “Go Home N-gger!

The real tragedy is 30 years later not much has changed in terms of the race relationship between blacks & whites, especially in the south. The question is will it ever?
