Aspiring rapper gets shot at his own video shoot by his own “goons”.

The most tragic part of the story is that once the shot rang out, (whether accidental or intentional) the “goons” ran off and this young man was left to die alone –at his own video shoot.

Man, it seems to be becoming a mortal sacrifice to be a rapper these days!

Some of the families of 43 college students missing in southern Mexico since September say desperation and a lack of confidence in the government drove them to appeal to the leader of a drug gang for help in locating their sons.

After months of investigation, Mexican officials concluded a different drug gang killed and incinerated the young men. But six months after the disappearance, and with only one of the missing identified through a bone fragment, parents are asking the leader of a rival gang to share what he knows. Crime Fiction Author Don Winslow Confirms Sequel Book And ‘The Cartel’ Movie Plans

Alfred A. Knopf has confirmed plans for a June 23 publication date for The Cartel, the title author Don Winslow has chosen for the sequel novel to his seminal 2005 drug war epic The Power Of The Dog. The sequel novel is the first one edited by Sonny Mehta since he won back Winslow from S&S; it was Mehta who edited The Power Of The Dog and The Winter Of Frankie Machine.
