UK Man Must Check In With Police Before He Has Sex Says He Was ‘Made Homeless’

A man who must contact police 24 hours before having sex with a new partner said he is currently living rough in the woods.

According to Metro UK News:

Despite being cleared of rape last month, John O’Neill said he was unable to claim unemployment benefit because he is subject to the Sexual Risk Order.

The 45-year-old, who has previously admitted to having an interest in sado-masochism and used to attend a Fifty Shades of Grey-style fetish club, claimed the order breached his human rights.

He is in court today to challenge the orders.

The single father of two, told BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire programme he is now camping in a tent in a wood near York.

He said: ‘I was homeless before for four years. I thought all this was behind me. To have to go back to it, it has been a bit of a shock.’

Due to the strict restrictions, the former IT consultant said he is unable to work or claim benefits.
Other conditions order him to hand over the PIN for his mobile phone to police, and not to use internet-connected devices which cannot be later checked by officers.

But today a court heard that O’Neill once told a nurse he needed women ‘to be scared or I don’t respond’.

Oliver Thorne, representing North Yorkshire Police, referred to a consultation O’Neill had with a community psychiatric nurse, Kevin Holmes.

‘He has been sexually violent to past girlfriends and he was not sure if they consented,’ Thorne, referring to the notes, said.

Holmes also recorded him as saying he saw a TV drama when he was a teenager which featured a prostitute being murdered and he was excited.

The hearing continues.

A sexual predator? Can’t really say I feel sorry for the guy. At ALL.

My only concern would be him being on the streets, potentially putting other women/children at risk. Jail wouldn’t be so bad as opposed to sleeping in a tent, would it? At least in the slammer he would get 3 hots & a cot and lots of male “attention” — serves him right.

WATCH: Perverted Police Officer Caught On Tape Trying To Talk Teenager Into Sex

I have no words. Seriously. This police corruption has got to stop. So now cops are soliciting underage girls? for sex?! Really?!

An officer was terminated by the Jackson Police Department after a video of him flirting suggestively surfaced on Facebook, authorities said.

The minute-long video, which includes graphic language, was posted to social media Tuesday and has been shared hundreds of times. “The Jackson Police Department does have possession of the video that was posted to Facebook (Tuesday) by the young lady,” Cmdr. Tyree Jones said.

“Chief (Lee) Vance found the video to be very disturbing. He is very disappointed due to the content that’s in the video.” Officer Darryl Stasher was terminated as a result of an investigation into the video, Jones said. Stasher was initially relieved of his police officer duties and assigned to administrative desk duty, Jones said. He was later fired.

Stasher, who worked for JPD for at least eight years, was assigned to Precinct 2, Jones said.

The girl’s family said she is 17 years old, but her Facebook page says that she was born in 1990.

Jones said the content of the video is inappropriate.

President Obama To Give 12,000 Prison Inmates Pell Grants For College Study

President Obama is trying to end his term on a positive note by promising 12,000 Pell Grants to inmates for college study according to Washington Post:

As many as 12,000 prison inmates will be able to use federal Pell grants to finance college classes next month, despite a 22-year congressional ban on providing financial aid to prisoners.

The Obama administration selected 67 colleges and universities Thursday for the Second Chance Pell Pilot Program, an experiment to help prisoners earn an associate’s or bachelor’s degree while incarcerated. The schools will work with more than 100 federal and state penitentiaries to enroll inmates who qualify for Pell, a form of federal aid that covers tuition, books and fees for college students with financial need. Prisoners must be eligible for release within five years of enrolling in coursework.

Although the ban remains firmly in place, the Obama administration is using its authority to create limited experiments in the deployment of federal student aid. Other recent experiments include extending Pell grants to high school students enrolled in college course and people participating in computer coding bootcamps.

“We all agree that crime must have consequences, but the men and women who have done their time and paid their debt deserve the opportunity to break with the past and forge new lives in their homes, workplaces and communities,” Education Secretary John B. King Jr. said on a call with reporters Thursday. “This belief in second chances is fundamental to who we are as Americans.”

King said the administration will provide approximately $30 million in Pell grants to inmates in 27 states. He said the funding is less than 0.1 percent of the overall $30 billion Pell program, and the pilot won’t affect funding to eligible Pell recipients who are not incarcerated.
