Mexican TV Host & Husband On the Run After Alleged Embezzlement of Over $140 Million USD

Beautiful Mexican television host, Inés Gómez Mont and her lawyer husband, Víctor Manuel Álvarez Puga, are reportedly on the run after allegedly embezzling billions of pesos.

The two are accused of embezzling close to 3 billion pesos, which is about $146 million USD, from the Ministry of the Interior in 2016 and 2017, according to Uno TV.

On Sept. 10 a federal warrant was issued for the couple’s arrest. Less than a week later, local outlet TVNotas reported that the couple had fled the country upon learning that they were being investigated.

Damn! $146 million?! I wonder were they somehow linked to the cartel or something. That’s a whole lotta money to have access to.

Inmates Film Themselves Partying in Rikers Island Prison

Allegedly inmates have taken over due to staffing shortages at Rikers Island, one of the most dangerous prisons in the US.

In the video below, inmates can be seen dancing with bottles of liquor & money allegedly filmed from smuggled cell phones.

According to NY Post, the staffing shortages have also spawned significant increases in violent beatdowns & drug overdoses.

The head of the city’s jails acknowledged “serious problems” at Rikers Island, just hours after The Post exclusively revealed video clips of three inmates attacking another and a group of inmates partying inside a cell.

The level of disorder here is deeply, deeply troubling. I’m not going to deny that there are serious problems here.
