Rapper Dave East Pays Homage to Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke & The Shower Posse

Rapper Dave East payed homage to Jamaica’s Shower Posse in his latest video for the release, “Unruly.”

In the video, which features reggae artist Popcaan, the Harlem-bred rapper goes to Kingston (Jamaica) & filmed scenes in Tivoli Gardens, home of Jamaica’s notorious crime don, Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke.

Supporters of the Tivoli Gardens businessman believe that he was railroaded as a result of a calculated and well planned political witchhunt orchestrated by the Jamaican People’s National Party (PNP).

To his community he was a beloved robinhood figure who reduced crime, provided opportunity and funded education and advancement for the residents of the west Kingston garrison.

In 2017 Coke was transferred to a low level security prison in Fort Dix, New Jersey. He is making use of his time behind bars by studying theology.
