2400 Carat Diamond Unearthed in Botswana Africa

Yoooo! No wonder they call African diamonds “blood diamonds” because I know someone is willing to kill for this. I can’t even wrap my head around a 2400 carat diamond.

Shout out to the motherland for birthing this very precious stone. It’s so massive it doesn’t even look real.

According to The Washington Post — A 2,492-carat stone unearthed in Botswana is the second-largest diamond ever found in the world and the biggest ever recovered in the African nation, according to the Botswanan government.

Canadian mining company Lucara Diamond discovered the gemstone, hailing it as “exceptional” and “high-quality” in a statement shared Wednesday.

Brandy Blogs: Are YOU Registered to Vote This November?

Hey hustlers,

Other than encouraging everyone to vote I try to stay away from politics on this blog, but the latest changes in the race to the White House have made me a little more optimistic about the future.

August is Montgomery Riverfront Brawl Month

August 7, 2024 marks the one year anniversary of the Montgomery Riverfront Brawl and social media is deeming it a national holiday.

The brawl started when Dameion Pickett, the co-captain of the Harriott II, asked the operators of a private boat that was docked in its space to move, getting only “obscene gestures” and “taunting” in response.

As the men approached Pickett, he sent what is now known as a distress call —the hat toss. Black men and women of all ages came to his rescue. The end result was pure chaos resulting in one of the black men clearing the scene with a white folding chair.

In the end, no major charges were filed by the FBI who investigated the incident as a possible hate crime. Dameion Pickett kept his job and is has now become somewhat of a national treasure with black people showing up to take pictures and show him love.
