Donald Trump Trolls Popular Black Detroit Church For Presidential Votes

Trump surrogates Omarosa Manigualt and Dr. Ben Carson, a Detroit native, accompanied him to the service. The outlet reports that Trump later paid a visit to Carson’s childhood home in southwest Detroit.
As the service began, Trump, who was at the front of the church, began swaying to the hymnal “What A Mighty God We Serve.”
“This has been an amazing day for me,” Trump said after taking the stage. Saying he was speaking from the heart, he called the black church “one of God’s greatest gifts to America” and said that “for centuries the African American church has been teh conscience of our country,” lifting up our nation.
