ChopperReadcollection — Chopper Read spent 23 years in prison for violent crimes he committed throughout his criminal career. He wrote multiple “best seller” crime novels based on his life. He was never convicted of murder, however, he did confess to murdering at least 4 men on his death bed.

Judging by the video below, [must see] “Chopper” was a guy who enjoyed living on the edge. I can’t imagine the sheer horror the poor news reporter must have felt in the moment he turned the gun from himself and on to her.

Chopper Read died 9 October 2013 of liver cancer. The previous night before his passing, he filmed a segment for “60 Minutes” in which he made various deathbed confessions.

He took credit for a lengthy list of crimes and made the shocking confession to have murdered at least 4 people during his underworld dealings.

Authorities are investigating those claims in attempts to solve any unresolved cold cases.
