Myriah Pointer, 23, of Atlanta, GA was attacked and severely beaten by three females that she thought was her friends, in an Atlanta area apartment.
The vicious attack —over a HAMBURGER has since gone viral causing an uproar on the internet as well as in the media.
Pointer suffered two black eyes, a chipped tooth and a concussion after the women, who she thought were her friends, beat her and recorded it.
The altercation all started when the women were at an apartment on the night of Saturday, February 21, 2015.
Pointer said that one of the women accused her of sitting on her Whopper Junior, a claim that Pointer denies:
“Like, the wrapper of the burger. I didn’t even sit on her burger.”
Pointer said the women began punching and kicking her and wouldn’t let her leave, yelling: “You’re not going nowhere!”
As the attack takes place a small child and a male are seen nonchalantly sitting on a nearby couch.
Pointer said that the onlookers were actually the 3 year old daughter and the boyfriend of one of the attackers.
“I’m more hurt emotionally than physically. I was unconscious while they were beating me”.
Pointer is now hoping that the media attention from the attack will move police to make an arrest.
“I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.”
Something is telling me there is way more to this story. All this –over a hamburger?
Many readers do not believe something as silly as a hamburger would cause these women to go on the attack. According to reader comments, the majority think that the attack was perhaps out of pure envy. Myriah Pointer is a beautiful girl.
