Chris Brown Refuses To Exit His House After Woman Said He Pointed A Gun On Her

R&B singer Chris Brown refused to come out of his Tarzana home Tuesday morning after authorities responded to a call for help from a woman on the property.

According to KTLA:

Police obtained the warrant and were in the process of serving it at the property, authorities said at a news briefing outside the home shortly before 1 p.m.

The department was conducting a “protective sweep” of the residence, and occupants were coming outside, Lt. Chris Ramirez with the Los Angeles Police Department said. Once removed from the home, they would be interviewed by detectives, who would then work to piece together what took place.

Officers first responded to the home in the 5000 block of Corbin Avenue after receiving the assistance call at about 3 a.m., according to Ramirez.

Detectives from LAPD’s elite Robbery-Homicide Division were handling the investigation, said Officer Drake Madison, who confirmed the home belongs to Brown.

Video from the scene showed a woman leaving Brown’s home Tuesday morning and waiting in the back of a patrol car.

Brown initially refused to come outside and was not allowing police into his home, according to Ramirez.

Authorities sought the search warrant to look for a weapon Brown allegedly used to threaten the woman, the Los Angeles Times reported citing law enforcement sources.

According to the victim, an angry Brown pointed the gun at her before she ran outside and called police, the Times reported.

On Tuesday afternoon Baylee Curran spoke exclusively to TMZ Live, and said Brown asked her to sign a non-disclosure agreement after he threatened her. Curran said she refused to sign the waiver and left Brown’s home shortly after the alleged incident, TMZ reported.

Until witnesses were interviewed, LAPD could not provide additional information about what had transpired at the home overnight, according to Ramirez. Brown’s attorneys were also at the home.

“Right now, we’re getting cooperation from everyone who’s involved,” he said.

No arrests have been made, Ramirez stressed.

Earlier, as police waited outside, videos surfaced on Brown’s Instagram page denying he did anything wrong.

In one of the videos Brown said he was asleep most of the night and awoke to police outside his home.

Brown said in one of the videos,

“I’m not coming out … it’s always going to be f— the police. Black lives matter. Good luck when you get the warrant or whatever you need to do. You’re going walk right up in here, and you’re going to see nothing, you idiots.”

He also accused police of not responding as quickly to his own calls for help in the past.

“When I call police, for stalker people who are endangering my life, they don’t come until the next day.”

Brown has a history of abuse involving women.

He was put on probation for five years in 2009 after pleading guilty to one count of felony assault over an attack on then girlfriend Rihanna. He was jailed for almost three months in 2014 after violating his probation.

This guy has got to get out of his OWN way! Something tells me he won’t have many more second chances left.

The internet streets seem to think Chris Brown was “in his feelings” about rapper Drake publicly confessing his love for Chris’ ex, Rihanna at the Video Music Awards earlier that night.

91-Year Old Michigan Man Shoots Would Be Robber In Rite Aid Parking Lot

According to Fox 5 San Diego:

A robber in Michigan picked the wrong target.

Eastpointe police said a 91-year-old man shot a would-be robber in the parking lot of a Rite Aid pharmacy Monday morning.

According to WJBK, the 91-year-old had pulled into the pharmacy’s parking lot around 10:15 a.m. Monday and said he began to feel uneasy when the man – later identified as Richard Ashford – walked up to him, acting erratically.

The 91-year-old warned Ashford that he had a concealed pistol license, and Ashford walked away.

When the man got out of his car to enter the pharmacy, however, Ashford confronted him again, pulling out an “unknown object” and pointing it at him, police said. The 91-year-old drew his gun and fired, hitting Ashford in the neck.

Ashford fled the scene despite his wound, but police later captured him and took him to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities charged Ashford with felonious assault.

“This elderly man’s self-defense is an entirely appropriate use of force,” Prosecutor Eric Smith said. “Facing imminent assault, he announced that he was armed, made attempts to withdraw, warned again that he held a weapon, and fired only when completely necessary.”

2 Men Arrested And Charged For Walking Around Inglewood With Assault Rifles

Via KTLA:

Two men were charged on Thursday for allegedly walking around an Inglewood neighborhood with assault rifles while dressed in camouflage and body armor, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office.

Edmon Adonis Washington, 35, and Brook Thomas Lindsey, 30, each face one felony count of possession of an assault weapon, a Hi-Point semi-automatic assault rifle.

Lindsey was also charged with one felony count of unlawful assault weapon-.50 BMG rifle activity, a Hi-Point semi-automatic assault rifle.

On Aug. 16, Washington and Lindsey allegedly began walking around an area near 104th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard with semi-automatic assault rifles.

Video from the scene showed the men walking around in camouflage, carrying the rifles and talking about racism.

Police arrived at the scene and monitored the men as they walked around the neighborhood.

“Right now we are giving a peaceful demonstration. Nobody’s being shot. Nobody’s being brutalized. We’re out here just exposing racism, white supremacy,” one of the men told KTLA during his walk.

Both men were later arrested in San Fernando Valley.

“We don’t recommend anyone to walk around in public, day or night, with a firearm in plain view,” said the Inglewood police Sgt.

Yea, no kiddin! I really CAN’T believe nobody was shot. Nowadays this kind of stuff seems a guarantee death warrant, especially for 2 Black men, with high powered assault rifles? It’s mind baffling to say the least.

Is California an open carry state? And do sawed off shotguns and semi autos apply to that law?
