Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, as they were formally known, went on a crime spree in the 1930s that captured the imagination of the American public.

Born in Texas in 1909, Clyde Barrow was a small-time criminal from a young age. Bonnie Parker, born in 1910, had dreams of becoming an actress but fell into a life of crime through her association with Clyde. They met in 1930, and their lives soon took a criminal turn.

Between 1932 and 1934, Bonnie and Clyde, along with their gang, carried out a series of bank robberies, burglaries, and murders across several states. Their ruthlessness and daring getaways made them infamous. They became symbols of rebellion against the economic hardships and law enforcement of the era.

Birthdays are Bittersweet

Yesterday was my birthday! September 9th…I won’t mention the year.

For most people birthdays are a time for fun and celebration. It’s a happy time to get together with friends family and loved ones and celebrate life. I get it.

For me, birthdays are bittersweet. For one aging or getting older is not really that exciting — I’m sorry y’all, it’s just not. It’s more like ugh but nonetheless I am thankful because the opposite of getting old is the obvious.
