This is such a heartbreaking story. This beautiful young woman absolutely did not deserve what happened to her. This whole thing reeks of hate.
I hope those so called ‘ex-fauxs’ get the retribution they deserve.
The video of Shanquella being attacked and filmed by her so called friends while on vacation in Mexico was horrific and very triggering to watch.
In the now viral video she never fought back as she was beat brutally in the neck and head. Her autopsy revealed she suffered from a fractured (broken) spine among other fatal injuries. With the severity of the injuries listed in the autopsy it is unbelievable that not one of the people responsible have been held accountable for her murder yet. Her family is calling on the feds to step in.
This whole situation is evidence that we need to be ware and mindful of jealous fake ass friends. Rest in peace Shanquella.
For those unfamiliar with the case here’s an express rundown.
Rapper and Instagram model Brittney Reed pka FTN Bae accused Chicago rapper, Davis Saulsberry pka “Doodie Lo” of molesting her minor son during the time the pair dated.
Doodie Lo vehemently denied the allegations and filed a defamation lawsuit against FTN Bae stating that the accusations have damaged his reputation as well as business opportunities.
In the meantime once the allegations dropped the two have pled their cases on social media, taken separate independent lie detector tests and told their stories to various interviewers such as Tasha K in efforts to prove their case in the court of public opinion.
The consensus is divided with some fans believing that she is trying to set him up because (allegedly) he “didn’t want her” and some believe that he really did molest the child. There have been lots of twists and turns in this story.
The two were eventually granted a real court and trial date regarding the lawsuit.
On the day of the trial as she arrived to court, FTN Bae was arrested for an “outstanding warrant” subsequently causing her to miss the trail.
She cried foul accusing her ex lover and his attorneys of pulling some illegal wrangling moves to prevent her from being in court. (due to the arrest) Doodie Lo was awarded a whopping $11 million judgement because she was not able to provide a defense to the lawsuit.
FTN Bae swiftly appealed the decision.
Today she learned that the judge reversed the judgement and has granted her a new trial date set for May 8, 2023.
She jumped on live to share her excitement about her new opportunity to tell her side of the story to a court of law and avoid paying out $11 mill..
Hazing rituals have long been the norm on college and even middle and high school campuses.
Every year hazing is used by various sororities and fraternities to initiate new hopefuls into their organizations. There has also even been reports of hazing by other groups such as military, athletics, bands, camps, etc.
The hazing has gotten so bad that both male and female students are being injured, paralyzed and dying as a result and the perpetrators are getting away with a slap on the wrist as hazing is considered a misdemeanor at best.
There is currently a CHANGE petition to stop hazing as a 19 year old North Carolina college student was killed following a fraternity hazing incident. He died from his injuries in a field off campus, he was tackled multiple times and was severely injured from a traumatic brain injury.
In Georgia, another student was strapped to a chair, hosed down, sprayed down and even defecated on. He was dropped off at ER and basically left to die.
Glynn County PD is investigating after a student on St Simons Island was seen getting hazed. He was strapped to a chair, hosed down, spray painted, pooped on and eventually dropped off at the ER unconscious and unresponsive.
This reminds of gang initiation. I can’t even imagine how horrifying having a child die as a result of hazing has to be for the parents. There has to be more done to ensure the safety of students. There is no way school leadership should keep allowing these type of rituals to continue.
