BMF: Big Meech Petitions Courts for 2025 Release

Big Meech is seeking early release from the feds and hoping to be released by year 2025.

Initially given a 30-year sentence, Big Meech had it reduced to 27 years (324 months) by U.S. District Judge David M. Lawson in June 2021.

Meech’s brother Terry Flenory was also handed a hefty sentence but he has been released due to good behavior. Terry was released from prison during Covid meanwhile Demetrius Flenory, the elder of the Flenory Brothers, is still incarcerated after multiple requests for earlier release.

According to HipHopDX, Meech’s lawyer Brittany K Barnett argued that the former BMF leader, demonstrating exemplary conduct in prison, achieving educational milestones, and staying trouble-free since 2021, deserves credit under U.S.S.G. Amendment 782,making a case for his release by 2025.

“Notably, Federal Bureau of Prisons (B.O.P.) staff observed that ‘Flenory has displayed a dedication to remaining physically fit and has taken it upon himself to lead and teach exercise classes to other inmates,” Barnett explained. “He also leads regular focus groups out of various self-help books and appears to [have] a positive mental health effect of other inmates.”

Earlier this week, Barnett filed a motion in the Eastern District of Michigan, aiming for a “retroactive application” of sentencing guidelines.

There has been no decision made on the request as of yet.

Young Thug Attorney in RICO Case Says THUG Means “Truly Humbled Under God”

Young Thug said what gang? He’s a man of God doing good for his community and his loved ones.

Check out the video below of his attorney Brian Steel explaining what the moniker “THUG” means as it relates to Young Thug’s stage name. He also claims the rapper is a studio gangster who did not live out his raps. According to Steel, “Pushing P” stands for “Pushing Positivity”.

“He is not running a criminal enterprise on Cleveland Avenue to gather money and power,” Steel says, arguing that by 2014, the rapper, whose legal name is Jeffery Williams, was a superstar who wouldn’t have had anything to gain and everything to lose by running on the street. “He is not sitting there telling people to kill people. He doesn’t need their money. He’s worth tens of millions of dollars.”

Jeffery Lamar Williams, is charged with violating Georgia’s anti-racketeering and gang laws, among other things. He was indicted last year along with more than two dozen other people, five of whom are set to stand trial with him.
