Florida Man Kills Man Over His Imaginary Girlfriend

A Florida man gunned down his mother’s friend because he believed the man was flirting with his girlfriend –who does not exist.

According to the AJC– Brian Desario, 30, walked into the garage of a home where his mother, her boyfriend and another friend were hanging out and accused a man, identified as 56-year-old David Armstrong, of flirting with his girlfriend. He then fatally shot Armstrong, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco said that Desario suffered from mental illness.

The suspect, Brian Desario, believed that the mom’s friend; who is the victim in this case, was trying to pick up Brian’s girlfriend and hit on Brian’s girlfriend,” Nocco said after the incident. “Please note, Brian does not have a girlfriend. In his mind, he did. But, in reality, he didn’t.”

Following the shooting, Desario began walking toward the nearby Gulf Highlands Elementary School, pointing his gun at the building. The school was immediately put on lockdown, and no children were harmed. When police arrived, Desario opened fire on two deputies, initiating a 10-minute shootout, during which he was killed.

Minnesota Man Shoots Up Birthday Party After Guests Refused To Sing To His Girlfriend

According to Daily News– A Minneapolis man has been sentenced to nearly 28 years in prison for opening fire at a birthday party, wounding three people, because partygoers didn’t sing “Happy Birthday” to his girlfriend, officials said Monday.

Delonte Thomas, 20, was convicted of three counts of attempted murder and sentenced to 333 months, or 27 and 1/4 years, in prison for his rampage.

In a bizarre court statement, Thomas called himself a “peacemaker” and claimed he had no recollection of the shooting.

“Everybody makes mistakes, and everybody deserves a second chance. I’m the peacemaker, I’m the one to try my best to make it through a situation. I don’t recall having a gun. I don’t recall shooting (anybody). I just hope to get some type of mercy here.”

The attack came in July 2014 after Thomas brought his girlfriend to a backyard birthday party, according to a criminal complaint. He started a fight with fellow partiers after they sang “Happy Birthday” to the guest of honor — but not to his girlfriend, whose birthday happened to be the same day.

Thomas stormed out of the party, returned 20 minutes later with a semi-automatic handgun and fired at the birthday bash around 1:30 a.m. He singled out a woman who objected to the group singing to his girlfriend, and shot her nine times, the complaint says. The other two victims suffered eight gunshot wounds each. All three underwent surgery and recovered.

Wow! Well it looks like this kid is going to be missing a lot of more birthday songs in the future. Just a wild guess.

Video Shows Police Shooting Man Seven Times Outside California 7-Eleven

LA Times– The deadly encounter occurred about 9:30 a.m., when the officer contacted the man at the 7-Eleven at 6012 Edinger Ave. and the two got into an altercation. The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The bystander who captured the video told The Times that he was in his car when he saw a police officer backing his cruiser out of the 7-Eleven parking lot. The officer stopped and flashed his headlights at a man dressed in dark clothing. When the officer got out of his vehicle and approached, the man swung at the officer.

The videos show the man standing, turning and hunching his shoulders as the sound of up to seven gunshots can be heard. The officer’s voice also can be heard shouting, “Get down!” The man then drops a dark object from his right hand and collapses to the ground.
