Hey hustlers,
Other than encouraging everyone to vote I try to stay away from politics on this blog, but the latest changes in the race to the White House have made me a little more optimistic about the future.
Since the departure of Democratic president Joe Biden and his endorsement of his hopeful predecessor Kamala Harris, politics have become intriguing again. Add in her vice president pick Tim Walz and politics just got damn right lit. He definitely seems to be ready to call Donald Trump on his shit. This is the type of energy Democrats have been missing and the American people are here for it.
Prior to this jolt in the race, I was less than buoyant and even wrote a letter to the president expressing my personal views as a citizen about where things were headed. (Insert high TAX) paying citizen.
Fast forward to now, Donald Trump has seemingly given up politic talk for stand up comedy at his rallies. Ever since Kamala entered the race he seems to be shooketh and very concerned about losing to the current madam vice president. He once again has taken to trashing his constituents even going so far as fat shaming governors (R)-Chris Christie and (D)-Jon Tester and name calling anyone who (such as (R)-Brian Kemp) he considers “disloyal”.
His rallies have become nothing more than impromptu opportunities for him to sing his own praises and lies and the media is eating it up, never missing an opportunity to fact check and disprove his outrageous claims.
In his latest rally he took more shots at Kamala Harris telling the crowd that “nobody even knows her last name”.
Uh — yea we do. It’s Harris.
Celine Dion issued a cease and desist and statement denouncing the use of her legendary song “My Heart Will Go On” from the Titanic movie soundtrack at his rallies. Social media, and even Celine Dion, found it ironic he chose that particular song selection comparing his campaign to a sinking ship.
Hustlers, please get out and vote this November 5th. Our democracy is yet again in danger.
