It’s no secret by now that Tonesa “Toni” Welch is not involved in the production or consulting process for the “BMF” television show produced by 50 Cent.
Tonesa has spoken candidly about how she was excluded from any affiliation with the show however her character is being depicted and portrayed as Markaisha Taylor by Lala Anthony.
In the show, the character is based around her relationship with former BMF kingpin Terry Flenory who she began dating before BMF was even a thing. Matter of fact she says she put him on because at that time, she had the plugs.
Welch says the show’s inaccurate depiction has opened her real life up to ridicule and bullying as viewers believe she really took advantage of a young Terry because of their age gap. Welch says that even though he is 13 years younger than her he was all man and of legal age and consent.
I’ve always wondered why they chose Lala for this role because she seems to have absolutely no similarities to the real Toni. Not looks, not attitude, not personality and not swag. Even the name Markaisha is an interesting choice. It’s very bizarre but hey I guess it’s a Hollywood thing.
Toni isn’t here for the depiction of her life being made for tv fodder and took to her social media to suggest it’s time to “kill” Markaisha off the show. Now that’s some mob shit.
