South Carolina Woman Missing For 2 Months Found ‘Chained Like a Dog’ Inside Container

According to KTLA– Kala Victoria Brown, a South Carolina woman missing since late August was found alive Thursday, chained “like a dog” inside a metal container on a rural property near in South Carolina.

Brown told deputies there also might be four bodies on the nearly 100-acre property, which is owned by Todd Kohlhepp, the sheriff said. Kohlhepp, a registered sex offender, was arrested.

“We’re trying to make sure that we don’t have a serial killer on our hands,” Wright said.

Brown’s 32-year-old boyfriend, Charles David Carver, who also disappeared in August, is still missing.

Wright told the media that investigators think Kohlhepp, Carver and Brown may have been friends.

“I don’t think this was a random act,” the sheriff said.

Brown, 30, was found “chained up like a dog” around the neck and was locked in the 30-foot-long shipping container for two months. Brown told deputies she had been fed.

Deputies were searching the property on Thursday morning, when they heard Brown banging on the container.

Kohlhepp, 45, was added to the South Carolina Sex Offender Registry as a result of a 1987 kidnapping conviction in Arizona when he was a teenager.

Wright thanked the efforts of the Spartanburg County sex crimes investigators for leading them to the Kohlhepp property.

The sheriff said deputies found weapons on the property.

He described the property as a farm. Kohlhepp doesn’t live on the property but was arrested there Thursday. It is unclear whether he has an attorney.

Texas AG Commissioner Calls Hillary Clinton A C-nt On Twitter

Smh! Politics is a shell of its former self. These new age politicians are some gangsters!

Commissioner Sid Miller speaks during a rally for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at the Travis County Exposition Center on August 23, 2016 in Austin, Texas.

According to CNNPolitics– Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller referred Tuesday to Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton as a “cunt” on Twitter, in a tweet relaying poll results.

PENNSYLVANIA: NEW AUTO ALLIANCE POLL TRUMP 44 CU** 43 Go Trump Go!” Miller’s account, @MillerForTexas, tweeted, according to a screen shot by the San Antonio Express-News, which reported it was deleted about 10 minutes after posting.

A spokesman for Miller originally claimed the account was “hacked,” according to the San Antonio Express-News, then blamed a staffer.

Mark Loeffler, an agency spokesman, now says the tweet was an accidental “retweet,” which implies it was written by another user and shared by Miller, but the tweet is not formatted in that manner and the reference to Clinton appeared to originate with Miller’s account.

“The campaign was retweeting information on Twitter today and inadvertently retweeted a tweet that they were not aware contained a derogatory term,” Loeffler, told CNN. “The tweet was taken down as soon as possible. Commissioner Miller finds the term vulgar and offensive and apologizes to anyone who may have seen it.”
Miller is a Republican who holds a statewide electable position. His Twitter biography self describes him as “a deplorable,” referencing what Clinton’s remark that some Trump supporters were a “basket of deplorables.”

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott condemned Miller’s tweet in a statement.

“The language is reprehensible and is an embarrassment,” he said in a statement to CNN. “No true Texas gentleman would ever talk this way.”

And the Texas Democratic Party responding by tweeting at Miller,”.@MillerForTexas delete your account. #txlege”

Miller has a reputation for stoking controversy. Last year, he shared a meme on Facebook advocating dropping nuclear bombs on “the Muslim world,” according to Texas Monthly.

I’ll be honest, the c-word is not a word used frequently used within the black community, however I do understand the offensive of the term. It’s certainly the lowest of the low coming from a “politician.” Straight disrespectful.

New York Woman Denied $43 Million Jackpot by Casino Is Offered Steak Dinner, $2.25 Instead

According to KTLA:

Katrina Bookman hit the jackpot on a slot machine in late August at Resorts World Casino in Jamaica, Queens. She even took an excited self-portrait with the machine displaying her winnings: $42,949,672. It would have been the largest slot machine jackpot in US history.

“I can’t even describe the feeling. It’s like my whole body just got numb,” Bookman told CNN affilate WABC.

But when she came back the next day to find out the exact size of her jackpot, a casino employee crushed her excitement.

“I said, ‘So what did I win? He said, ‘You didn’t win nothing,’” she told WABC.

The New York State Gaming Commission said that Bookman’s machine had malfunctioned. The machine, like all the ones in the casino, has a disclaimer stating, “Malfunctions void all pays and plays.”

Instead, the casino offered Bookman a complimentary steak dinner.

“All I could think about was my family,” Bookman told WABC, her voice breaking. She grew up in foster care and raised 4 children as a single mother.

The New York State Gaming Commission told WABC that they immediately pulled the machine from the casino floor to fix it, and it is now up and running once again. The commission said that by law they can only award Bookman her actual winnings of $2.25, printed by the machine.

“They win, and now the house doesn’t want to pay out. To me that’s unfair,” says Bookman’s attorney, Alan Ripka. He’s fighting for the casino to pay Bookman the maximum amount allowed by the Sphinx slot machine — $6,500.

“The machine takes the money when you lose. It ought to pay it when you win,” Ripka said.

A Resorts World spokesman told CNN: “Upon being notified of the situation, casino personnel were able to determine that the figure displayed on the penny slot was the result of an obvious malfunction — a fact later confirmed by the New York State Gaming Commission.

“After explaining the circumstances to Ms. Bookman, we offered to pay her the correct amount that was shown on the printed ticket. Machine malfunctions are rare, and we would like to extend our apologies to Ms. Bookman for any inconvenience this may have caused.”

The casino couldn’t send a portion of its revenue to a New York state education fund, as mandated by law, if had to pay out massive jackpots like the one displayed on Bookman’s machine, said the Resorts World spokesman, who asked his name not be used. In five years, the casino has generated more than $1.6 billion for the fund, he said.

But Bookman remains frustrated.

“I should win the max. And I feel like I should treat him (the casino employee) to a steak dinner,” she said.

SMH! Do you think she was denied her mega millions due to race?
