Thief Hops Rite Aid Counter And Steals Bottles Of Promethazine

According to AJC Atlanta— A man jumped over an Atlanta Rite Aid counter and filled his backpack with cough syrup. The employee said that the man watched her until she finished with her last customer then hopped over the counter and told her, “Don’t move and you won’t get hurt.”

He took 10 bottles of Promethazine cough syrup worth $137.96 and “walked out of the store calmly,” according to the report she gave the police.

Wow.

For those who aren’t familiar, Promethazine is a codeine antihistamine that is the main ingredient used to make “lean” — a popular drug drink of choice for rappers. It can be used to treat everything from allergies to motion sickness. It is so potent that it is also used as a sedative before and after surgery and medical procedures.

When mixed with Sprite, the “drink” is highly addictive. Some rappers –such as Lil Boosie say they have stopped “sipping the drink,” mainly because of its painful and excruciating withdrawals. Withdrawal symptons can be likened to coming off of heroin.

According to Lil Boosie, due to today’s popularity of syrup, there is a heightened demand and pints of promethazine can go for as much as $5000.00 on the streets.

Trump Says He Is Doing The Military A ‘Great Favor’ With Transgender Ban

Via Variety— Donald Trump defended his decision to ban transgender individuals from the military, saying that he’s doing the armed forces a “great favor” on an issue he calls “complicated” and “confusing.”

Trump, speaking to reporters in Bedminster, N.J., said:

“I think I’ve had great support, or I’ve had great support from that community. I got a lot of votes. But the transgender, the military’s working on it now.

It’s been a very difficult situation and I think I’m doing a lot of people a favor by coming out and just saying it. As you know, it’s been a very complicated issue for the military, it’s been a very confusing issue for the military, and I think I’m doing the military a great favor.”

Trump’s announcement of the ban, in a tweet on July 26, reportedly caught military leaders by surprise.

Defense Secretary James Mattis had announced that the department was reviewing the policy, but that was expected to last through the end of the year.

Trump’s announcement of the ban drew criticism from the LGBT community, Democrats, and some Republicans on Capitol Hill.

Chad Griffin, the president of the Human Rights Campaign, called Trump’s comments on Thursday “delusional.”

“Donald Trump’s attack on transgender troops weakens our military and is a betrayal of those who wear the uniform. Fifty-six retired admirals and generals, Republican and Democrat elected officials, and a majority of the American public have all condemned Trump’s misguided and despicable policy that will do nothing but undermine military readiness and harm brave transgender service members and their families.”

Florida Man Shoots Up AT&T Trucks Parked On His Lawn

So this old guy has got to be Stanley from the movie “Friday” — 10.0! 

Furious about two utility trucks parked outside on his lawn, Jorge Jove, of Miami, Florida decided he would “pop a cap” (or 12) to let AT&T know he means business. 

First he nonchalantly guns down all 4 tires on both trucks and then lets off a few more rounds with his revolver as the workers looked on and filmed the “walk by” in horror.

As the bullets flew, the worker mentions there is one worker stuck up in the bucket and couldn’t come down. 

Unbelievable. Thankfully nobody was hurt.
