Texas Pastor Says Gay People Should Be ‘shot in the back of the head’

June is celebrated as LGBTQ PRIDE month and a Texas baptist church — labeled an “anti-LGBT hate group” ain’t feeling very festive.

NBC News — “Pastor” Dillon Awes of Stedfast Baptist Church in Watauga, a suburb of Fort Worth, made the comment and other controversial remarks during a Sunday morning sermon.

Awes read several passages from the Bible and condemned homosexuality as a sin. At one point, he told the congregation that gay people “are dangerous to society” and said that “all homosexuals are pedophiles.”

At certain times during the sermon people from the crowd could be heard cheering in agreement. Awes told the room that he thinks the “solution for the homosexual in 2022” is the death penalty.

Many people on social media criticized the pastor with some labeling his remarks as a violent threat to the community.

Damn!!! Whether you are pro or anti LBGTQ, this is very dangerous rhetoric — especially in today’s climate of mass shootings & violence. Is it very Christian-like to condemn & wish harm or death on others?

Let’s push peace people and let God be the judge! None of us has a heaven or hell to place anyone in.

Criminal Trail of Former “Empire” Actor Jesse Smollet Set to Begin Today

Wow! I didn’t even know he was facing a criminal trial for this. Smh imagine setting yourself up then catching a charge for setting yourself up.

Did anybody ever figure out why he did this? What in the heck was the ultimate purpose of all of this? What was the end game?

Insider — The criminal trial of actor Jussie Smollett, who is accused of staging a hate crime against himself, is set to begin Monday after years of delays.

In January 2019, Smollett reported to Chicago police that he had been attacked by two men wearing ski masks while walking home from a Subway sandwich shop around 2 a.m., claiming they shouted racist and homophobic slurs and referenced former President Donald Trump’s slogan “Make America Great Again.” He also said the men placed a noose around his neck.

At the time of the attack, Smollett, who is Black and openly gay, was starring on the TV show “Empire,” which filmed in Chicago.

Shortly after the attack, which was first investigated as a hate crime, police and prosecutors said they believed Smollett himself had staged it. He was accused of making a false report to police and was charged with felony disorderly conduct.

Indonesian Man Threatens To Sue KFC When His Burger Didn’t Look Like the One on the Menu

Lmao, I’m guessing this guy has never eaten at McDonalds or 99% of the fast food chains out there because the food ALMOST NEVER looks like commercial or menu.

He posted photos comparing the burger he got with the one on KFC’s menu. The one on the menu had fluffy buns filled with crispy chicken, lettuce, a slice of cheese, and sauce, but the burger he said he received had dry-looking buns, a shy-looking patty, and no other fillings or sauce.

After seeing the sandwich he received I can kind of see his point lol. That looks like a basic chicken patty straight out of the grocery store. No telling what he paid for it. Those meal delivery services can be pretty pricey.

Vice — Erwin Sandi was so disappointed with his “underwhelming” chicken burger from KFC that he planned to take the fast food restaurant to court. In a now viral Facebook post from Nov. 15, Erwin complained about the Krunchy Burger he received from a local KFC outlet in Palopo, a city in Indonesia’s South Sulawesi province, which he ordered through a food delivery app. He called the sandwich “disappointing” and said that it “didn’t look like the picture at all.” “KFC is good at deceiving their customers,” he wrote in his post.

“I tried to call [KFC], but no one answered the phone. This is the second time I received food that didn’t look like the picture,” he told local media.

Erwin claimed that he bought six burgers the previous week and that those didn’t look like what was on the menu either.

“It looked underwhelming. I can’t believe a large franchise like KFC sells such unfinished burgers,” he added.

Erwin told local media that he planned to file a lawsuit against the local branch.
