Texas Lyft Driver Charged With DUI While Driving Passengers

He had made it about 2 miles with a passenger on March 8 before police pulled over the 44-year-old driver, Allen Edmonds, and arrested him on a drunken-driving charge, according to court documents.

Passenger Alex Grant said Edmonds stopped at a green light, then veered into other lanes before he was pulled over at 10:55 p.m.

“That was where I was like, ‘I need to get out of the car.”

Edmonds admitted to drinking two beers, his arrest affidavit said. Police found an empty can in the vehicle’s center console and several 16-ounce cans of beer in the SUV. Edmonds smelled of alcohol, Grant said.

Edmonds failed to touch his heel to his toe, turned improperly, lost his balance during the instructions and stepped off the line during a sobriety test, the affidavit said.

He declined to give police a breath sample to test for intoxication, the affidavit said.

Grant said:

“It was pretty bad. I’ve seen a lot of people get sobriety tests because I used to work downtown, and he was struggling.”

Atlanta Man Pours Boiling Water On Gay Couple In Bed

Martin Blackwell, 48, was arrested and taken to the Fulton County Jail, charged with two counts of aggravated battery

According to Channel 2 Action News– A young couple is recovering from severe burns after police say a man threw burning water on them — because they are gay.

The victims told the Atlanta news station that they were sound asleep, resting after a long day at work, when they were attacked.

Marquez Tolbert was attacked by his mother’s boyfriend who threw hot water on he and his lover for being gay

Marquez Tolbert said:

“The pain doesn’t let you sleep. It’s just, like, it’s excruciating, 24 hours a day, and it doesn’t go anywhere.  It doesn’t dial down, anything. It’s just there.”

Tolbert believes that the second and third-degree burns along his neck, back and arms are scars of hate.

Tolbert asked:

“Why else would you pour boiling hot water on somebody?”

The 21-year-old and his boyfriend, Anthony Gooden, were severely burned last month when the men say Gooden’s mother’s boyfriend walked in on them sleeping in Gooden’s College Park apartment and poured scalding water all over them.
Tolbert said:

“I can barely think straight because the burning, the stinging is everywhere.”

Memorial Hospital undergoing surgery that took skin from his thigh to replace skin on his back.
Gooden got out the hospital on Friday.

Martin Blackwell, 48, remains in the Fulton County Jail, charged with two counts of aggravated battery.
Tolbert said:

“Martin pulled me up and said, ‘Get out of my house with all that gay. I couldn’t stop screaming.”

Even though he said he wouldn’t put up with the couple in his house, Blackwell did not live in that apartment. It belonged to Gooden and his mother, but Blackwell was frequently visiting.

According to a police report, Blackwell said he was disgusted by the men’s relationship:

“They’ll be all right. It was just a little hot water on them.”

Tolbert asked:

“Like, where was your head at? Why would you do this?”

An Atlanta Police Department LGBT liaison assisted in the case to make sure Blackwell did not make bond.
Although they don’t exist in the state of Georgia, the liaison said federal hate crime charges are a possibility in the case, and an upcoming hearing will address that.

Memphis Man Urinated On Cereal Products In Kellogg Factory

Ok so where do I begin? Let me just start by saying this, playing with my food will get you cut!

A vile pig recorded himself peeing on a conveyor belt at the Kellogg cereal factory plant he worked at in South Memphis, TN. Let that sink in.

The stomach-churning incident happened in 2014 & the company had no idea about it until the video surfaced online- 2 years later!!! I am 100% willing to bet those contaminated products made it to the shelves where unassuming consumers would have purchased and consumed them by now.

Who knows how many other times this has happened before or after that. If it can happen at a reputable company like Kellogg, it can (& probably has) happened anywhere!

This guy probably never would have been “exposed” if the video hadn’t found its way to Worldstar where it’s been viewed over 500k times. Sick. Disgusting. Uncool.

I wonder if he submitted the video himself hoping to gain some sort of notoriety. Hopefully it will gain him a lot of prison time.

I’ve never wished jail on anyone, but they need to find this guy and lock his ass up!

Check out the story and join the discussion.

According to Fortune:

Kellogg said that a criminal investigation is underway into a man seen urinating into cereal at one of its factory assembly lines after a video of the 2014 incident surfaced online last week and went viral.

The company found out on Friday about the graphic “not-suitable for work” video, that has now been seen almost 500,000 on the World Star Hip Hop site, and immediately informed law enforcement, Kellogg told Fortune in a statement. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Criminal Investigation is conducting a probe and the company is conducting an internal investigation. Kellogg said it is still working to identify the individual in the video.
Kellogg spokesperson Kris Charles told Fortune:

“Food quality is of the utmost importance to Kellogg Company. We are outraged by this completely unacceptable situation”

Kellogg said that any potentially affected product (mostly Rice Kripsies Treats) would be very limited in quantity and past their expiration dates.
