Happy Birthday to Hollywood Actor Robert De Niro!!!

🎉🎉🎉All together on the count of 3 … sing!!! — Ha-ppy Birth-day to one of the most prolific and respected actors to ever touch down in Tinseltown.

It’s hard to believe that Robert De Niro is now in his 70’s. I wish classic actors such as him were immortal & ageless –we’d keep him around forever.

Mr. De Niro has blessed the big screens with his magnificent and unequivocal gangsterness my entire life. From The Godfather to Goodfellas to Meet the Parents, he has had one of the most versatile and extensive careers in Hollywood.

Personally, I’d have to say one of my favorite roles portrayed by De Niro is probably of Jewish handicapper Sam “Ace” Rothstein in the forever classic gangster flick Casino — he totally finessed the role.

The 1995 American epic crime drama film, directed by Martin Scorsese stars De Niro, Joe Pesci, and Sharon Stone. In Casino, Rothstein (De Niro) is called by the Italian Mob to oversee the day-to-day operations at the fictional Tangiers Casino in Las Vegas.

In addition to starring in some of Hollywood’s leading motion pictures, Robert De Niro has also produced and directed various blockbuster projects including Prison Song, starring Q-Tip, Mary J Blige and Fat Joe. Check out this extended list of his work which dates back to the 70’s.

Between LPs with Nas and Mick Jagger, and more recent tracks with Jay-Z (4:44‘s “Bam”) and Skrillex (“Make It Bun Dem”), Damian Marley (a.k.a. Jr. Gong) has been his late father’s rangiest ambassador.

His first solo album in a decade is an inspiring 18-track collection, flexing authority on roots jams and dancehall bangers, political meditations (“Walking home a youth gets killed/Police free to shoot at will,” he sings on “Slave Mill,” with his dad’s indomitable ruefulness) and come-ons (the Drake-ian “Grown and Sexy”). It’s a reminder that reggae remains a potent pop force, especially when it’s in the hands of a master.

I must admit, ever since New Orleans rapper Lil Boosie Badazz got out of prison in 2014, he has become a new man. I personally liked some of his music but never really followed his career prior to. Since his release, he can do no wrong in my eyes. I just like the guy what can I say. I get a kick out of him. His interviews are always classics.

Boosie’s time in the bing grew him up and after his release it was obvious that he was finally headed down the right path. I can appreciate his redemption story.

Check out this video of Boosie talking about how his fans touch his heart when they let him know that they appreciate his music.

Around the :53 mark Boosie breaks out in song belting out the 1993 hood classic throwback, “Gangster Lean.” And he sings it from the heart.
