Reality Star Toya Wright’s Brothers Tragically Shot To Death In New Orleans

According to multiple sources and eyewitness accounts, reality star Toya Wright has reportedly lost two of her beloved brothers to gun violence.

Last night the New Orleans Police Department were sent out about a shooting on Pauger & N. Miro, the victims were later identified as Toya Wright’s brothers Rudy & Josh.

As a widow who lost my fiancée to the streets, this has got to be the most horrifying nightmare to lose 2 brothers, especially in the same night– at the same time. Her life will never be the same.

According to NOLA.com

Two brothers of reality television star Toya Wright were gunned down early Sunday morning (July 31) in New Orleans, family members confirmed.

The two young men were discovered shortly after midnight Sunday inside a car near the corner of Pauger and North Miro streets in the city’s 7th Ward. Both had been shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene, New Orleans police said. Less than an hour later, a man was shot to death in the Seabrook neighborhood of New Orleans East.

Police have not released any information about a motive or possible suspects in either fatal shooting.

Condolences to Toya & her family. My brother was recently shot after a very senseless dispute but thankfully he lived through it. Gun violence MUST stop! It’s killing us!

Toya has since posted this picture of her beloved brothers Rudy & Josh to Instagram.

Rap Legend Dr. Dre Cuffed And Searched At His Own Home After Trespasser Falsely Accuses Him Of Flashing A Gun

Just in case you thought being a billionaire made one immune to police harassment, the legendary Dr. Dre got a heaping dose of reality at the end of his own driveway on Monday.

A dispute with a passing motorist led to the butthurt driver crying “gun” on the hip-hop mogul, and a gang of cops showing up to his home to handcuff and search him.

According to TMZ:

Dr. Dre got cuffed and patted down by Sheriff’s deputies outside his Malibu home after an alleged road rage dispute over a guy blocking his driveway.

Sources close to Dre tell us the motorist had pulled off PCH and stopped in front of Dre’s crib. We’re told Dre asked him to move, and he did … but cussed at the mogul as he did it. Dre pulled into his driveway, but the other driver kept yelling — so Dre pulled out his phone to record video.

Our Dre sources claim the guy said, “Here we go again, another black guy with a gun.” L.A. County Sheriffs tell us the motorist called 911 to report someone pulled a gun on him.

When deputies responded they put handcuffs on the Doc and searched him. We’re told they found no gun, and let him go. However, the guy insisted on making a citizen’s arrest, which means he filled out a report detailing his allegations.

The Sheriff’s Dept. will forward that to the District Attorney … who will decide whether there’s a case. Dre was not physically arrested by deputies.

SMH! So all someone has to do is place a call to police and say the words “black man” and “gun” and a whopping 6 police squad cars show up.

Not to mention Dr. Dre was on his OWN property and the caller was a trespasser on HIS property but HE (Dr. Dre) gets cuffed and searched. Something is not adding up here but it goes to show that no matter how successful you are, if you’re black then you’re still a target and a “threat”.

California Bans Spice

The City Council unanimously approved a ban on a synthetic drug known as “spice,” which San Diego authorities say is responsible for a rash of hundreds of medical distress cases in recent months.

The law prohibits the manufacture, sale, distribution and possession of federal Schedule I drugs, “novel synthetic drugs” and “novel psychoactive drugs,” categories that include spice, according to the City Attorney’s Office.

The San Diego Police Department recommended the ban — which does not apply to medical marijuana — because of holes in state and federal regulations that are exploited by makers and sellers of so-called designer drugs. Only a handful of the 100 or so chemical formulas used to make the drug are prohibited.

If you have never seen what a person “on spice” looks like, check out this video. What in the world could possibly be in that stuff?
