REPORT: Alabama Police Framed Innocent African Americans For Decades

The police force Dothan, Alabama has been blasted in a new report that digs into nearly 20 years of discrimination and false imprisonment of Black citizens.

A new report has exposed a cover-up of an internal affairs investigation that proved that officers in the narcotics investigation squad have routinely planted drugs and weapons on young Black men to secure charges against them since the mid 90’s — motivated by the squad’s affiliation with a racist neo-Confederate group.

Via Henry County Report:

The Alabama Justice Project has obtained documents that reveal a Dothan Police Department’s Internal Affairs investigation was covered up by the district attorney. A group of up to a dozen police officers on a specialized narcotics team were found to have planted drugs and weapons on young black men for years. They were supervised at the time by Lt. Steve Parrish, current Dothan Police Chief, and Sgt. Andy Hughes, current Asst. Director of Homeland Security for the State of Alabama. All of the officers reportedly were members of a Neoconfederate organization that the Southern Poverty Law Center labels “racial extremists.” The group has advocated for blacks to “return” to Africa, published that the civil rights movement is really a Jewish conspiracy, and that blacks have lower IQ’s.

The documents shared reveal that the internal affairs investigation was covered up to protect the aforementioned officers’ law enforcement careers and keep them from being criminally prosecuted.

Several long term Dothan law enforcement officers, all part of an original group that initiated the investigation, believe the public has a right to know that the Dothan Police Department, and District Attorney Doug Valeska, targeted young black men by planting drugs and weapons on them over a decade. Most of the young men were prosecuted, many sentenced to prison, and some are still in prison. Many of the officers involved were subsequently promoted and are in leadership positions in law enforcement. They hope the mood of the country is one that demands action and that the US Department of Justice will intervene.

The group of officers requested they be granted anonymity, and shared hundreds of files from the Internal Affairs Division.

Honestly, there are no surprises here! Sadly.

Woman Forced To Flee Her Home After Address Posted On “Plenty Of Fish” Ad

A felony charge has been filed against a Florida woman after she allegedly posted an online-dating ad inviting men to come over and “rape” her. The problem is that the ad was not intended for herself — but for another woman she purposely wanted to hurt. She used the other woman’s real photos and gave her real address.

According to a criminal complaint obtained by the Smoking Gun and filed in Pinellas Court, 39-year-old Frances Lee Tapscott “had a friend create a fake Plenty of Fish profile using the victim’s name and photographs.”

That profile, highlighted by the complaint, said the woman, 25, enjoyed “role play” and that she wanted someone to come over and “rape” her.

The ad began to make a splash on the site, drawing attention from men. The complaint said that when men would respond to the ad, they were given the victim’s phone number and home address.

Two of those men took the ad so seriously they showed up at the victim’s house to “act out the fantasy,” the complaint noted. Reports say the victim was in fear for her safety and had to flee her home.

The relationship between Tapscott and the victim is unclear, as is the motive behind the vicious posting.

Tapscott has been charged with aggravated stalking and is reportedly being held on $10,000 bond.

Ferguson Woman Robbed & Killed By Man She Met On Facebook

SMH!

This is exactly why I don’t date or even entertain men from the Internet. Life has enough “everyday crazies” to contend with.

Internet dating is so complex because social media allows a person to be whomever they want to be — or not be.

This beautiful young mother was savagely robbed & murdered after meeting a man on Facebook and inviting him to her home, assumingly, for paid sex.

According to Pix11.com:

Police have charged a 20-year-old man with the grisly murder of a single mother he met on Facebook.

Greer and Bradford met on Facebook and arranged to meet for sex in exchange for money, according to St. Louis County Police.

A relative found Bradford’s naked body face down in a pool of blood. She was killed by a single gunshot to the back of the head. Police also found traces of semen on Bradford’s body.

Greer had been identified by a witness who saw him entering the apartment complex.

Family members say Bradford was an aspiring nurse and mother of a 6-year-old girl. They say they’re glad her daughter wasn’t home at the time of the murder.

Greer is being held on $1 million cash only bond.
