Real Life Mob Wives: Wife of John Gotti Jr Arrested on Assault Charges

John Jr with wife Kimberly and daughter Gianni Gotti

Kim Gotti, the wife of John Gotti Jr – son of world famous deceased Italian mobster John Gotti, was arrested alongside the couple’s 23 year old daughter for throwing hands at a Long Island high school basketball game back in February.

According to Channel 2 CBS (NY) — the fight started over a woman allegedly heckling and name calling Gotti’s son who plays on the basketball team.

Like any mama bear, Gotti’s wife said something back to the woman in defense of her son and the fight was on and the wigs were off.

The other woman who identified herself as the victim suffered “substantial pain to her scalp and bruises to both sides of her face,” according to a complaint filed in Nassau County First District Court.

The Gotti wife and daughter Gianni, who plays professional basketball overseas, were arrested and spent the night in jail. They were released the next day on their own recognizance. Both were charged with third-degree assault as a result of the court side mayhem.

John Jr. spoke for his family outside the courthouse saying the whole case was self defense because the woman punched his wife in the face first. According to news reports Gianni stated that she was just trying to break the fight up. The victim accused the mom-daughter duo of jumping her and ripping off her wig.

Both Gottis refused an offer to plead guilty to assault charges in exchange for 12 weeks of anger management and an order of protection for the victim in March.

I wonder if the other woman knew whose family she was beefing with.

Imagine if this happened during the Gotti Sr days, somebody would probably be swimming with the fishes.

Both Gottis declined to press charges against the woman when cops arrived on the night of the incident.

“The Gottis don’t press charges,” their lawyer said after the pair was arraigned.

The judge issued an order of protection meant to keep the infamous mob family members away from the victim in the case, who has not been named.
