Beautiful and glamorous self proclaimed sports manager Peggy Fulford was featured on “American Greed” for pilfering millions of dollars from her professional league star clients.
Her most notable client is bad boy Dennis Rodman whom “loved her dearly” meanwhile she was allegedly stealing “approx 1.5 million dollars” of his money.
The New Orleans born beauty had an impressive knack for charming her way into the lives of unsuspecting athletes and then their pockets. Those familiar with Peggy said she was so beautiful and well put together that most people assumed she was already uber successful thus unsuspecting her of stealing from them until it was too late. Peggy had a motherly instinct and would use her outgoing and caring facade on her clients and even sometimes their spouses which drew them in. The caring facade was part of her scam.
In the end she was reported to law enforcement and it was uncovered that Peggy King aka Peggy Fulford had been faking her identity and credentials.
Once the feds got involved she was investigated and arrested December of 2016. According to documents she was charged with fraud and money laundering and sentenced 10 years in prison as well as $5.8 million in restitution to her victims.
While out on bail for those charges she was re-arrested again for scamming a doctor out of a $174,000 investment for a business deal. The deal was the two were to open a senior living facility in her hometown of New Orleans. She cashed the check and was immediately arrested once it was discovered that the property that was supposed to be purchased was never for sale. She had already pocketed the cash. The total amount scammed from the doctor was $371,000 but once he was aware of her charges he was able to cancel a check written to her for $194,000. She also pled guilty to those charges and is currently still incarcerated.
