Today is the birthday of Jamaica’s own Christopher Dudus Coke.

The true crime documentary series Gangsters: America’s Most Evil featured his story alongside other international crime lords. To date, the Kingston Kingpin episode is one of the most viewed episodes of the series.

Coke was sentenced to 23 years in federal prison for his crimes in 2010. He is currently serving the remainder of his sentence at a low security prison in New Jersey.
