Man Tries Pawn Car Stereo Amp At Same Store He Stole It From
A Florida man who police say took an amplifier from a shelf at a pawn shop on Monday, ripped off the sale tags and pawned the item back to the same store was arrested this week in connection with the theft of a leaf blower from the same store.
Jose Daniel Claudio Jr., 38, told Ocala Police Department detective Melissa Buetti that he has a drug problem and was pawning the goods to pay for his heroin addiction, according to an OPD report.
Claudio was charged with dealing in stolen property, fraud, retail theft and petit theft.
