Rappers 50 Cent & The Game Squash ’12 Year Old Beef’

Looks like 50 Cent and The Game have made official emends and are looking to put their petty hip hop beef behind them.

According to the Internet streets:

50 cent appears to have ended his long running beef with The Game. The two were spotted out partying together, which has–of course–led to rumors that they may collaborate on something down the road.

The rappers were out having a grand time on Monday (August 1) at Ace of Diamonds in Los Angeles (via TMZ). “I f— with 50,” The Game told the cheering crowd. “What happened, that s— was 12 years ago.”

He added, “Ain’t nobody on that old s—.” In May, The Game’s newest signee Pharaoh Jackson said the rapper was contemplating a reunion with G-Unit. The Game squashed those rumors at the time, but with this latest appearance it’s possible he and 50 could be plotting a fresh collaboration soon.

As for why the pair suddenly had a change of heart, perhaps it’s a result of The Game’s recent involvement in anti-violence campaigns. He’s been spearheading different initiatives meant to send a peaceful message, which would be much harder to do if he doesn’t practice what he preaches. Either way, it’s nice to see the two put their differences aside and start off fresh.

I guess I’m really late because I thought these two had already squashed their beef back in 08-09? And I thought they had already collabed as well? At any rate it’s good to see them put all the ‘beef’ behind them for good (again).

‘Empire’ Ratings Continue To Fall

Fox execs are sweating in their loafers after “Empire” TV ratings lost another million viewers this past week.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the hip hop soap opera lost another 1 million viewers on Wednesday night.

“Though the series still easily won Wednesday night, in both the key demo and total viewers, it slid another half of a point among adults 18-49 for an average 4.6 rating,” the publication wrote. “The Fox drama also averaged 12.2 million viewers.

Empire has seen its time-shifting take rise with each same-day fall since the lofty premiere, so it’s becoming apparent that it currently isn’t nabbing the appointment viewing status that it had during its freshman season.

Insiders are stating that Fox Network execs are ignoring the live viewer ratings and focusing instead on the artificially inflated DVR ratings.

Remember, “Power” star 50 Cent blamed “Empire” ratings dip on “too much gay stuff.”

Others are blaming Lee Daniels for the loss of three million viewers since its premiere because he’s way overdoing it on the celebrity guest appearances, robbing the show of its believability, credibility and authenticity.

50 Cent Sues His Lawyers For $75 Million

50 Cent has filed a lawsuit against the law firm Garvey Schubert Barer because he feels like they poorly represented him in his case against Sleek Audio, Business Insider reports.

Fif filed the case in Connecticut bankruptcy court on Oct. 6th and is asking for a whopping $75 million. According to documents, the Queens rapper says that the Wall Street law firm did not “employ the requisite knowledge and skill necessary to confront the circumstances of the case.”
In 2010, 50 Cent teamed up with Sleek Audio to launch his own brand of headphones, “Sleek by 50.” When Sleek missed their launch deadline and the headphones didn’t hit the market, 50 went on to start his own headphone company, SMS Audio. In the court documents, the Power producer claims that his lawyers advised him that he would not be infringing on any intellectual rights and that Sleek Audio could not have a case against him. They were wrong.

Sleek Audio later filed a lawsuit against 50 claiming that he misappropriated trade secrets to sell his SMS Audio headphones. They ended up winning and the judge ruled that 50 had to pay them $11 million along with another $5 million for attorney’s fees.

Losing the case reportedly played a role in Fiddy filing for bankruptcy due to the expensive legal fees. A judge also ruled that he pay Rick Ross’ ex-girlfriend $5 million after it was ruled that he published her sex tape on the internet with malicious intent.
