Wendy Williams Loses Sponsorship Deals Following HBCU & NAACP Comments

Wendy Williams is finally paying for her words. Literally.

Bossip recently reported that the wreckless talk show host recently got on her high horse to discuss Jesse Williams’ incredibly relevant and powerful BET Awards speech.

Unfortunately, the words must have been lost upon Wendy because she went totally left with her thoughts about race in America.

Check out the clip below:

“I would be really offended if there was a school known as a historically white college,” Williams says. “We have historically black colleges.”

Well, according to B. Scott the talk show host has lost a very lucrative deal following her idiotic comments. – Good riddance!

Read more about it here, on BOSSIP.

Oh and while we’re on Wendy Williams, check out this throwback radio interview of her & my favorite TV judge, Judge Mathis.

Wendy “attempted” to be her usual obnoxious domineering “personality” but was quickly halted in her bear tracks by the former drug dealer turned “distinguished” lawyer & judge. He boldly called out Wendy’s alleged cocaine addiction & accused her of “getting high in the bathroom” and having “powder around her nose.”

By the end of the read there wasn’t much left for the six foot something bully of a talk show host (who prides herself on “keeping it real”) to attack.

The “Detroit native” accused the shock jock of spewing gossip & strongly advised her not to throw stones from a glass house because he wasn’t afraid to toss a few stones back.

“It’s tough dealing with a real one…”

#SayHerName – Ieshia Evans: The Epitome Of Power, Courage, Grace & Beauty

One of the most powerful pictures on social media is this picture of Ieshia Evans. The single mother of a 5 yr old little boy was 1 of about 100 people, including a Black Lives Matter activist, arrested for obstruction of a highway during the Black Lives Matter rally in Baton Rouge.
The demonstrators were accused of blocking highway entrances/exits in protest of police brutality of Blacks & minorities.

The iconic photo was taken by Jonathan Bachman, a New Orleans-based photographer, who was in Baton Rouge on Saturday covering protests for the Reuters news agency.

Demonstrators had gathered outside the city’s police department to protest against Tuesday’s police killing of Alton Sterling.

Bachman told BuzzFeed News that between 100-200 protesters were blocking traffic on a highway when law enforcement officers dressed in full riot gear showed up and told the demonstrators to move to the sidewalk.

” I photographed a man arguing with an officer and then I looked over my shoulder and saw her there and she had every intention of not moving. She just stood there and made her stand. I was just happy to be able to capture something like that.”

The woman was quickly detained, Bachman said, but when he checked his camera he knew he had captured a remarkable photo of her defiant act of peaceful civil disobedience.

“That was the first image I transferred [to Reuters] because I knew it was going to be an important photo. You can take images of plenty of people getting arrested, but I think this one speaks more to the movement and what the demonstrators are trying to accomplish here in Baton Rouge.”

Ieshia Evans has now become an Internet and media sensation, trending on all social media networks for her silent courage.

“She was there, she wasn’t resisting, and she had every intention of not moving.”

Ieshia was released from jail this evening around 5:30 pm according to a Twitter poster.

Atlanta Auntie Begs Women To Stop Wearing Waist Trainers

I’m not sure if the following PSA was meant to be funny but it is beyond that. It’s hysterical.

Check out this Atlanta woman’s cry for women to “stop training ya waist” after her niece couldn’t breathe & ‘fell out at the Red Lobster happy hour on Candler Road’ from wearing a waist trainer “in 130 degree weather.”

The woman claims waist trainers cut off 30% of your oxygen to the brain.

There may be some truth to that.

I must say, I have tried to wear one of these trendy fat busting contraptions but I could only make it through about 15 minutes before it felt like I was about to implode. Not to mention they hurt my back & side muscles. 😔 No thank you, bowl of pasta please?
