This is primarily a crime based blog but occasionally a congratulations is in order, especially when a young person does something spectacular.
William Roberts III, the oldest son of Rick Ross and the youngest son of Tia Kemp is headed off to college in the fall.
‘Lil Will’ has signed up to attend Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach Florida. Will, an Allstar football athlete, will be playing football for the historic black college.
He recently visited his new alma mata for signing day alongside his proud mom Tia and brother DeAndre who were by his side for support.
Lil Will posted the following photo on his Instagram account.
Rick Ross commented on the post with fire emojis but unfortunately was not in attendance for his son’s big day leaving social media perplexed because he has been posting videos galavanting around social media with his new girlfriend Cristina Mackey.
Although Tia and Ross have been publicly feuding, these are moments that a parent shouldn’t want to miss.
I wonder if the new girlfriend encouraged Rozay to be there for his son especially on this very important day. Never mind the drama. His absence was kind of disappointing to see as it appears Ross was spending more time with his son when he and Tia were on better terms.
Let’s hope the biggest boss will come back around for his son and show him the unconditional support he deserves and needs. With all the challenges that young black men face, they certainly need a village behind them. He seems like such a cool kid.
Tia, a fierce advocate for her son, has challenged Ross to donate $500K to the school to help with uniforms, equipment and other essentials. She has begun a GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds.
Congrats Lil Will! We’re all very proud of you! The sky’s the limit!
