April Lawson says she was inspired by the “Chiraq” movie after witnessing hundreds of black men camp out to buy shoes amidst Chicago’s worsening criminal violence.
She wants to recreate the premise of the film by challenging young women to refrain from giving their men sex until the violence ends.
