Initially Sandra Bland’s death was portrayed a suicide after she was found dead with bed sheets wrapped around her neck in a Texas jail cell.
Her family argued that she was looking forward to a new chapter in her life & would never commit suicide. They ordered a private autopsy on Bland’s body, and her death has now been upgraded as a homicide investigation.
