Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Momma Dee Calls Bambi A Liar Over Erica Dixon Birthday Trip

One thing Momma Dee is going to do is ride for her son, rapper Lil Scrappy.

Bambi, Scrappy’s ex-wife, just did an interview with the Big Tigger Show on Atlanta radio station V103 and claimed that Scrappy invited her to go on a family vacation before he popped out on IG in Hawaii with his baby moms Erica Dixon. “The Bam” said she politely turned him down and in true Scrappy fashion he went “over there” when he couldn’t get what he wanted from her.

Momma Dee calls bs and said that the trip was actually Erica’s birthday trip so there is no way any of this could be true. Momma Dee said Scrappy copped a ticket to Hawaii the day of Ericas’s party so there is no way in hell he invited Bambi plus the fact that Bambi and Erica are mortal enemies, there would never be any blended family vacations. Momma Dee accused Bambi of lying about her age and having “10 boyfriends”.

Now hustlers, I have no dogs in the fight but in Bambi’s defense she never said she was invited to Hawaii — she said a “family vacation”. Social media ran with the Hawaii/Erica Dixon link because Scrappy was just all over the internet at Erica Dixon’s birthday extravaganza in Hawaii.

Chile, this story is getting messier by the day as Scrappy has been seen out multiple times recently with not only his baby mother Erica but also his ex girlfriend Diamond of the rap group Crime Mob since splitting from Bambi.

Watching the first few seasons of Love & Hip Hop (ATL) it seemed like Scrappy was very in love with his daughter’s mother Erica. But right before that, back in my club days around Atlanta I have seen Scrappy with Diamond and he seemed to be super into her. It was no doubt he was crazy about Diamond. Then a few years later I watched him with Bambi on the show and again he seemed very into her too so now I’m confused. Maybe Scrappy just loves hard. I know I can be a sucker for love from time to time myself but I digress.

I’m assuming we will see more of this story on the show but I guess we will have to just wait and see! For now social media is tuned in for the shenanigans.

Rapper Meek Mill No Longer Has a Felony Record

Philly’s own, rapper Meek Mill is officially a free man.

Meek announced alongside an interview with the biggest boss Rick Ross that his felony convictions have officially been wiped clean from his record, thus allowing him the freedom to move about like us regular people.

Congrats to Meek Mill because during my time working on criminal and prison reform I know this is actually a huge deal.

A game changer.

The prison pipeline for black men has been catastrophic and ruined many lives even after redemption. The sad part is once the criminal background is marred with felonies, it limits the quality of life.

It’s like you almost belong to the government and most jobs and housing check perform criminal background checks. It can affect so many other important aspects of life including basic human rights such as voting. (I have always thought taking away a person’s rights to vote was ridiculous)

Having a felonious record is a very difficult conviction to overcome, but thankfully there are programs that can assist with record expungement.

WATCH: Foxy Brown Says She Was Supposed to Be In Junior Mafia Instead Of Lil Kim

Check out this throwback interview of Foxy Brown talking about her previous friendship with the “Queen Bee” Lil Kim.

At some point when both their careers were taking off the two fell out and the fight for the rap crown became extremely competitive. The two traded shots both literally and on wax.

Eventually the tension got so high that violence erupted between the two camps in the form of a gunfight outside New York’s Hot 97 headquarters. Kim ended up going to prison for perjury. She claimed to hear or see nothing – mafia style.

In the interview Foxy says that Biggie initially wanted her to be the female voice in Junior Mafia. According to her Jay Z wasn’t willing to let her go and wanted to keep her on the roster. She later ended up in the group The Firm alongside rap legends AZ & Nas.

Check out the interview. Skip to 16:30 mark where she discusses her old friendship with Kim.
